In a world where ratings don't matter, it would be Denver vs. Orlando. LA barely squeaked by the depleted Rockets, and Denver has been steamrolling through quality opponents. Orlando, should they beat Boston tonight, have a legit shot at taking out the Cavs. (won 3 of 4 against them in reg season) That would leave the NBA marketing team with Dwight Howard vs. Carmelo Anthony.
Now in the real world, where marketing is king, and David Stern is salivating over a second consectutive "dream matchup", this is what you'll see.
In the West: Kenyon Martin and likely Carmelo will get "sheeded" Called for tickytack fouls, and when the drop their jaws, slapped with techs for punishment. Questionable reffing at best, Lakers win series in 6,
In the East, Lebron goes nuts in first game for 45 pts. Game 2, Howard backs up another promise with a 20/20 game, despite hack-a-howard tactics. Orlando wins game three, and David Stern makes a couple of phone calls, and next thing you know, Cavs win three straight.
In the finals, Kobe and Lakers go up 3-0. No team in history has ever come back from an 0-3 start........until this year. For the next 4 games, LeBron dazzles, dunks, dishes and dances to the hole, totally demolishing the Lakers, thus cementing his place in the NBA as hands-down, best player and the rightful successor to His Airness.
Just think of the stupid split screen Kobe/Lebron talkin head crap....and those puppets.....oh the marketing millions that shall be Stern's.....

After all, we have "Smokers Who Quit Smoking" "Mother Sets Fire to Gloating Rapist" and other little gems that may not fit into your shoebox of acceptable topics. ie: obama, taxes, republicans, organized religion, bushliedpeopledied. etc.
