never had it nor tasted alcohol, but for anything thats an oxymoron thats still on the market this long, it has to be something good with it.


its like being in the frozen food section and seeing Morning star "meatless ribs"......MEAT-LESS ribs.... since when do plants have ribs?

Do you mix Guinness and Bass in the same glass? Never had that.... I won't even have a Corona, because everyone says you have to put a lime wedge in it or it tastes horrible. If you have to doctor it up, it's not worth the time.

Mix? Nonononono.

You pour in the Bass/Harp, then you pour the Guinness over top of a spoon (or other obstruction) so that it gently falls onto the underlying beer instead of plummeting down into it. If done correctly, you will see a clear division between the Guinness layer and the Bass/Harp layer.

Black & Tan, Crown Float (Guinness and Strongbow same idea).

I prefer a Guinness, at 13.5 Degrees Celsius (the .5 is important), and the pint has to be built right.

Budweiser will only cross my lips if:
A: it's free, or I'm getting paid to ingest it
B: if I'm in Czech Republic, and it's brewed the proper way.

John: Yep. You need either a tankard or a Guinness sleeve because it won't work anyother way... Also, for all the slag Guinness gets for being a heavy stout, it's lighter than the ale, and has about the same alcohol content & Calories as a light beer.

I also have to qualify what constitutes light beer:

- Molson Canadian (If I feel like slumming it)

I've usually got Sleeman Clear (GF's drink of choice) and Guinness in the fridge, but I've started to drink Mead now... it's good stuff

^^Sleeman's is good stuff too... The Quidi Vidi Honey Brown I listed is very similar to Sleeman's, just with subtle differences.

I see there is not a lot of Miller fans (I know Miller makes Micky's!). It's like da champiegn of beer, eh?

Yeah, I will hit up the High Life (only in bottles and ice cold). I can't get myself to drink the MGD though. Not my style.

Bud Select isn't bad. It's a departure from the normal crap they brew.

Ohh, Bortsy, don't feel bad about the Coors. I am stationed in CO and it's dirt cheap, so I get it on occasion. Their NA beer is pretty good when I am in a pinch out here.

I had some Canuk beer once. I was at a wedding in TN of all places (The bride's parents were Canadianese). I don't remember what it was called, but it had X's on the label. It was aweful. Tasted like swill.

Nothing beats an ice cold Miller Lite from the tap at BW3's and a giant mount of BBQ wings w/free PPV boxing or Futbol Americano on the big screen.

When I finally return home to my native WI, I will have to "cross the boarder" and try some of this exotic beer from "Da' Great White Nort", eh? Just don't be a hoser and drink my last beer.
