About time something is being done.
unless it puts it to 2$ a gallon where ti should be i dont care.

Way to go Bush, rather than look into things like changing how much tax the Government charges on gas or how people use gas lets just flood the market with more oil and that will bring prices down. Who cares if it increases pollution. Rising prices for an extended period of time SHOULD have helped to curb people usage and teach them how to be better consumers. This would have saved people even more money if/when the prices came back down. Now we just get to see the H4 and the next biggest Ford Excrement. Why don't they just assist those that MUST travel for work and such, they can just put all that cash they pulled from Irans aid package to good use
sigh..................

1: Purchasing for the Strat. Oil Reserve is a joke... it's about 98% full.
2: The S.O.R. is supposed to be used to help mediate the price of oil, this was something that Bush's dad understood that Junior is still not getting.
3: This is another of the administrations re-affirming their "commitment" to the american people... mortgaging the future environmental concerns for short-term gains.

DING DING DING!! WE HAVE A WINNER!
Bush: "Instead of taking a financial loss, god forbid that, lets just punch holes in the environment. Down in Texas we don't need no stinkin ozone layer, neither should the rest of the world!"
At least something is being done though, I'll give him credit for trying, but an F- for execution.
Doing SOMETHING... Not thinking about it...

Reactionary policy is utterly futile because it's planning to fail... this kind of policy has failed in the past, and will keep on failling.

DAMMIT!!!!! I forgot my punch-line
. It was supposed to read; Some hope shines through... the ozone! Gotta remember the preview button.

omg yet another reason bush displays his idiocy.
why in the WORLD would anyone EVER think that releasing environmental restrictions so that the world gets polluted even more than it is to ease pump prices.
id rather pay high pump price than have these restrictions lifted. i am so unbelievably PISSED right now. gawd damn he is an idiot.
not only does it cause immediate damage to the environment, it is only postponning the gas spike. 2 negatives. leave th prices the way they are but keep the restrictions. than at least there is only 1 negative in the equation.

How much is gas up in Canada?
And could you please convert it for my non-metric ass.
Next thing you know, they're going to launch another mock congressional investigation into gas prices!

Who cares? Gas ain't cheep in most of the world. We had a good ride now its time to pay up. Don't like $3.00 a gallon? Just wait till this summer they're predicting $5.00 to $6.00 a gallon. I get right around 35 to 40 mpg, a tank of gas lasts me 2 weeks I don't care at all seeing how I used to have nothing but huge V-8's that would get around 10mpg on the highway and maybe 2 Gpm in the city.
Get used to it cause its only gonna get worse.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Gas is over $4/UsGallon in my area. Western Canada will be lower, Eastern Canada will be higher..
What is it.. About 4.5L to a US Gal right? At about say, $1.05 CDN / L so, ya, over $4USD/USgal.
PAX
this is what im saying!
id MUCH rather the gas prices be high than to lift environmental restrictions.
and never once have i said someone should do somethign about the high prices. i realize that is where the prices are going and are goign for good. it is time to find alternatives, not find ways to make gas cheaper at the pump by sacraficing our lives and the lives of the future.
this is one of the stupidest moves he or any president has done.

That being posted, if high gas prices finally drives the stake into the heart of gas-guzzling-SUV-driving-soccer-mom-mobiles,... YAY.
