I bought a pacesetter header and I read that they rust bad. I havn't put it on my car yet but how do I keep them from rusting? Does the high temp paint hold? Do i need to wrap it? Advice please!
don't wrap it, it'll only rust underneath.
someone correct me if i'm wrong but high temp paint will work yes?
honestly i would get them coated....either ceramic or jet coated.....my pacesetter on my eco is ceramic and its held up really well for over a year now

Most headers will rust since the paint burns off. Unless theyre armor coated or ceramic or whatever. Wrap will keep your exhaust heat out of the engine bay.
Id try out some VHT flame proof or whatever its called.
Wrap will collect moisture and will promote rusting. If you bought the "Armor Coated"(silver) one you will be fine, but if you bought the one with black paint then you'll need to have it ceramic coated.

Either Jet or ceramic coat it.
