have had the new Astra for a year now and the thing is great , i hear that GM are going to release this in the US as a Saturn . Hope they sell the turbo version to you . Just had my PCM/ECU remapped and it now puts out 255Hp at 12psi boost plus have just added a carbon intake kit.

Yeah that is a pretty sweet looking car. I think they will bring the turbo version, but maybe not the first year.
We are not getting the turbo, we are not getting the 2.4L with 164 lbs of torque and 175hp that we now have in the Saturn ION-3 as an option. We are getting a 1.8L 126lbs of torque and 138hp 2,900 pound slug. I'll bet anyone we do not see engine improvements untill 2010.
