Now, I have the antenna in the trunk (a 3 ft 'Firestick' on a spring mount). Clean hole, all weather-sealed up. Radio is mounted on/under the knee panel, below the steering wheel. I have the antenna wire all tucked in from front to back. Everything's a go except for power. I figured on tapping into the upper 'power port' for a 12v feed. Wound up blowing out the 15amp fuse in the engine fuse box. What the hell? Radio wasn't even turned on, last time it was working great, just got no clue. Yes, the polarity was correct. Anyone out there know where I can get a 12v source that wont' cause a problem?
